Compounds of the formula (I): wherein X is a -(C-CH<SUB>2</SUB>)- group or a -CH(CH<SUB>3</SUB>)- group, with the proviso that when X is a -(C-CH<SUB>2</SUB>)- group, R<SUP>1 </SUP>is a C<SUB>1-10 </SUB>alkyl group or a C<SUB>2-10 </SUB>alkenyl group and when X is a -CH(CH<SUB>3</SUB>)- group, R<SUP>1 </SUP>is hydrogen, a saturated or unsaturated, linear or a branched C<SUB>1-10 </SUB>alkyl group, a C<SUB>1-10 </SUB>acyl group, a C<SUB>1-10 </SUB>cycloalkyl group or an aryl group are useful as perfumes. |
