Retractor for surgical operations on the arteria haemorrhoidalis |
abstract |
A retractor for surgical operations on the arteria haemorrhoidalisncomprising a retractor tube (1) having a closed and rounded distal endn(101), to be inserted in the anal cavity, a window (8) on the lateralnsurface, through wich the artery is ligated, and an open proximal endn(201) to which is connected a gripping handle (M) which removably housesna light source (F). In the portion (601) connecting the handle to thendistal end of the retractor tube a channel is provided housing anparabolic mirror which reflects the light supplied by the light sourceninto the retractor tube to illuminate the lateral window. An ultrasonicnprobe for the detection of the artery is removably housed in anlongitudinal chamber (10) provided at the interior of the retractorntube, extending from the proximal end of the retractor tube to a lateralnopening (7). The ultrasonic probe is preferably protected in a thin, ndisposable and easily removable sterilised sheath to allow thenhygienical reutilisation of the same probe. |
