titleOfInvention | Method for detecting and identifying the presence of biological substances derived from birds, and oligonucleotides therefor |
abstract | The invention concerns a method for detecting the presence of biological substances derived from birds, in particular from anseriformes, galliformes or struthiformes in a sample or organic substance. The invention is characterised in that it consists in determining the presence of DNA of avian origin, in particular derived from goose-type, cock-type or ostrich-type in said organic substance by amplifying a DNA sequence specific of the genome of birds, in particular of anseriformes, galliformes or struthiformes, and contained in the DNA extracted from the sample, namely a sequence present in the genome of birds, in particular anseriformes, galliformes or struthiformes but absent from the genomes of other animal genuses, and in particular of other animal species. |
