abstract The invention concerns a packaging shaped by cutting out a panel made of plywood, wood fibre or similar material. The resulting blank comprises a rectangular base (1) and four adjacent sides (2) (3) (4) (5). A V-shaped milling of about 90 DEG , produced on the base perimeter, over a depth less than the thickness, creates folding lines for the sides when forming the volume. The truncated shape of the container enables to reserve material on the rectangular sides (2) and (4) (3) and (5) without projecting beyond the parallelepiped defined by the base. The opposite sides (2) and (4) comprise tenons (6) 7) (8) (9). The sides (3) and (5) comprise openings wherein the tenons are urged to be locked in when the volume is formed. The shaped blank can be transported flat. The package can be manually assembled on sites of use. The inventive plate is particularly designed for packaging fruits and vegetables.
