abstract | The present application is directed to a DNA sequence comprising a promoter sequence selected from sequences of one or more pollen specific genes from Brassica napus and from one or more of the promoter regions of the pollen targeted genes in clones L4 as shown in Fig. 2a or 3a, L10 as shown in Fig. 2b or 3b, L16 as shown in Fig. 2c or 3c or L19 as shown in Fig. 2d or 3d or of portions thereof which function as a pollen specific promoter, or a DNA sequence which hybridizes with the said DNA sequence and has the function of a pollen specific promoter. Specifically, the invention is directed to pollen targeted promoters or such promoter constructs as illustrated in the description and the figures of this application. |
