titleOfInvention Method for the isolation of large diversities of molecules specific for a target molecule from phagemid gene libraries
abstract The invention relates to a method for isolating large variances of specific molecules for a target molecule from phagemid gene libraries and a test kit, starting from a phagemid gene library, the large variances of a molecule or large variances of parts of a molecule that are in the According to the invention, acts as a specific molecule, directly or via a linker covalently coupled to the phage coat protein pIII of the filamentous phage M13, as a fusion protein on the surface of phages containing the phages of the library which contain the phage expressing the fusion protein, are incubated with a target molecule, the phages specifically bound to the target molecule via the fusion protein are eluted with a selection molecule which breaks the bond between the specific molecule and the target molecule and binds to the target molecule, the eluted phages which do not express the fusion protein are inactivated such that they can no longer infect bacteria, with the eluted phages which express the fusion protein, bacteria are infected and the variances of the specific molecule are determined and obtained from the infected clones.
