Gel air fresheners |
abstract |
A gel air-freshener device comprising a container defining a cavitynfor receiving a fragrance-containing gel matrix (7), the containernhaving an aperture (4) for permitting ingress of air into the cavity andnegress of fragrance from the cavity, and having first (1) and secondnends (3), which ends abut the gel-matrix (7) and move freely relative toneach other as the gel matrix (7) shrinks upon evaporation of thenfragrance. The device exploits the shrinkage of the gel-matrix (7) andntranslates this into movement of the device thereby providing a visualncue to the condition of the gel matrix and in particular when it isnexhausted. |
