titleOfInvention | Modified rubber, process for producing the same, and composition |
abstract | A modified rubber which has been modified with a compound having two or more epoxy groups per molecule and has a specific structure; and a process for producing a modified rubber which comprises copolymerizing a vinylaromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene using an organolithium as an initiator by the solution polymerization method and modifying the resultant copolymer with a compound having two or more epoxy groups per molecule. Also provided are: a modified-rubber composition comprising a raw rubber comprising the modified rubber and silica compounded therewith; and a vibration-damping rubber and a footwear both obtained from the modified-rubber composition. |
