titleOfInvention SILICONE GEL COMPOSITION
abstract A vibration-absorbing silicone gel composition which has high vibration absorption and high shape retention and is usable as, e.g., a vibration-absorbing damper even when it is not enclosed in a sealed container or bag. The composition consists mainly of: (a) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane having (meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule, (b) 5 to 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane which does not react with the ingredient (a), (c) 1 to 50 parts by weight of a three-dimensionally crosslinked silicone resin which has been pulverized into irregular-shape particles, (d) 1 to 20 parts by weight of atomized silica, and (e) an effective amount of a polymerization initiator.
