abstract | In order to distribute the spreading material by means of a centrifugal spreader with a spreading material container and at least two counter-rotating spreading disks (4, 5) provided with spreading vanes (8, 9), the spreading material is spread over at least one controllable metering device on the container to an inside area (12 , 13) the spreading disc (4, 5) is given up where it spreads in the centrifugal field of the spreading disc until it is gripped by a spreader vane, accelerated outwards and released at its outer end (10) at a large spreading angle. The spreading of the spreading material on the spreading disc-free surface (12, 13) of the spreading disc is limited to a ring sector (25, 26) with a sector angle (γ) matched to the largest spreading angle (α, β). To reduce the overlap of the spreading fans on one side, the spreading angle of at least one spreading disc (4, 5) is reduced from the inside to the outside by controlling the sector angle (γ), and at the same time the spreading angle and / or the spreading width on the other spreading disc is reduced. Furthermore, a centrifugal spreader with the aforementioned method of operation is described. |
