abstract |
The present invention provides less expensive ink jet recording papers havingnhigh glossiness and high durability and being capable of quickly absorbing inks withoutncausing bleeding. n Accordingly, the present invention provides an ink jet recording paper having annink-receiving layer provided on a porous resin film, wherein the porous resin film has anliquid absorption capacity measured in accordance with "Japan TAPPI No.51-87" of 0.5nml/m 2 or above and the ink-receiving layer has a surface glossiness (JIS-28741:nmeasuring method at 60°) of 40% or above. It is preferable that the ink jet recordingnpaper contains at least one member selected from among alumina, alumina hydrate andnamorphous silica in the ink-receiving layer. |
