Artificial tooth and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract |
In the case of a plastic tooth (10) made of light-polymerizable material, the tooth is made up of a cutting compound (18), a dentine compound (16) and possibly a further compound. The adjoining masses (18, 16; 16, 14) are intensively connected to one another. The plastic tooth (10) is produced in such a way that different masses of the tooth are introduced into a mold in at least two successive steps. The shape is translucent and the mass introduced in the second step is polymerized in such a way that the light acts through the first mass. |
