abstract This invention relates to a preparation containing preferably a hydrophilic film-former, water and urea. Said preparation contains urea in a quantity of between 70 and 90 % by weight and the hydrophilic film-former in a quantity of between 10 and 30 % by weight, the respective quantities being measured in relation to the non-volatile constituents. The preparations are suitable for the non-traumatic excision of diseased toe and finger-nails, for example of fungus-infested areas of toe and finger-nails.
