titleOfInvention | Test sample card and method of its use |
abstract | The invention concerns a method for producing a test sample card (1) comprising at least a fluid passage circuit, forming a network of passages (3) and/or sections (17), for transferring at least a biological fluid from at least one intake (2) to at least an outlet (16, 17) and which consists in injecting into the test sample card a hydrophobic fluid into all or part of the network of said card, prior to transferring the biological fluid(s), said hydrophobic fluid filling the capillary spaces formed by the angles of the network of passages and/or sections of the card and avoiding the formation of bubbles and/or gas hold-ups while the fluid is being transferred. The invention is particularly useful in the field of microfluidics used in biology. |
