abstract |
A method for the preparation of a negative working lithographicnprinting plate by means of ink jet printing is disclosed. Thisnmethod uses a lithographic printing plate precursor comprising anlithographic support and an image forming layer containing anpolymeric binder soluble in an aqueous alkaline developer. Thenprecursor is image-wise printed by an ink jet fluid comprising ancompound capable of reducing the solubility of said binder in saidnaqueous alkaline developer. After development a negative workingnprinting plate is obtained. |
