titleOfInvention Detection system for verifying the originality of an object and a test device for carrying out said verification
abstract The invention relates to a detection system for verifying the originality of an object. At least one component of the detection system is connected to the object or contained therein, whereby said component acts as the marker. The invention is characteterised in that the detection system contains a) at least one substrate for at least one enzyme, b) a catalyst comprising b1) at least one enzyme for at least one substrate and/or b2) at least two components which, together, form at least one enzyme for at least one substrate and c) optionally at least one indicator system that is in tune with the enzyme-catalysed substrate conversion and is used for generating signals. A signal is generated by means of the combination of the substrate and enzyme only or the combination of the substrate, enzyme and indicator system. The invention also relates to a test device, especially for carrying out such a verification. The inventive detection system and the inventive test device are suitable for verifying or identifying products, product packings or labels for instance.
