| abstract |
A method and arrangement for managing a productnstrategy over a period of time spanning one or morengenerations is disclosed. The method considers people'snlifestyle, life stage, generational belonging, and productncharacteristics in order to predict necessary changes ofnproduct requirements for one or more target groups. Thenarrangement includes a data processing system having ancomputer processing means for processing data and a storagenmeans for storing data on a storage medium. Input datanincludes demographic data, as well as current and predictednproduct requirement data for selected lifestyles and lifenstages. By processing and correlating the data, a productnspecification is obtained that determines a product strategynfor the product or products in question. The invention alsonrelates to a method for managing a product strategy usingnsaid processing system. |
