abstract |
A toner showing a high transferability andnsuitable for use in cleanerless image forming systemnis formed of toner particles comprising at least anbinder resin and magnetic iron oxide. The toner isncharacterized by a specific circularity distributionnrelative to its weight-average particle size and ancontrolled degree of surface-exposed magnetic ironnoxide providing an extract solution with hydrochloricnacid showing an absorbance of 1.0 - 2.5 at anwavelength of 340 nm. The toner is suitably producednby a production system including a rotary mechanicalnpulverizer and a one-pass surface treatment apparatusnfor continuously applying a mechanical impact force tonpulverized toner particles therein. |
