An electroluminescence element having a positive electrode, a negative electrode and one or more electroluminescent organic layers, wherein a luminous material contained in the organic layer emits a light by the application of a voltage between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, characterized in that the element further comprises, between the positive electrode and the organic layer, a carrier transfer aid layer comprising a salt of a dopant compound having electron accepting property with a polyimide precursor and/or a polyimide having an oligoaniline unit as a side chain, which is obtained from a diamine component containing at least 1 mole % of diaminobenzene derivative having an oligoaniline unit and a tetracarboxylic dianhydride or a derivative thereof. |
