abstract |
New microcapsules (A) of average diameter 0.1-5 mm are obtained by: (a) forming a matrix from an active agent (I), a gel former (II) and chitosan (III) or an anionic polymer (IV) selected from (meth)acrylic acid homo- or copolymers; and (b) adding the matrix dropwise to an aqueous solution of (IV) (if (III) is used in step (a)) or (III) (if (IV) is used in step (a)) to form a shell. An Independent claim is also included for the preparation of (A) by steps (a) and (b). |
