abstract | The invention relates to a method for the preparation of anprotein hydrolyzate usable as a fertilizer, and to thenfertilizer obtainable by the method. n The method is characterized in that it uses, as startingnmaterials, protein broths produced by the cooking andnpressing of butchery waste. It is also characterized by thensteps of:n (a) subjecting the protein broths to a hydrolysis treatmentnby means of protease enzymes, thus producing a first proteinnhydrolyzate, (b) pre-concentrating the first protein hydrolyzate, (c) subjecting the pre-concentrated first proteinnhydrolyzate to a further hydrolysis and sterilizationntreatment at high pressure and temperature, thus producing ansecond protein hydrolyzate, and (d) further concentrating the second protein hydrolyzate. |
