A method for producing a fracture-resistant multi-component coating onnthe surface of a substrate is disclosed wherein the temperature is no greaternthan 0°C at some point during the method. The method includes applying to thensurface a first component including an aqueous binder composition, and a secondncomponent including an absorber. The coating is fracture-resistant duringnapplication, drying, and use at temperatures no greater than 0°C. |
