abstract |
A formulated resin composition for producing a closed cell rigidnpolyisocyanate based foam is disclosed. The formulated resinncomposition for use in a polyurethane froth spraying system includesna hydrofluorocarbon blowing agent, a Mannich polyol, atnleast one additional polyol, a catalyst system, and a surfactant.nThe formulated resin composition has a hydroxyl content of atnleast 400 mg KOH/g and a polyurethane foam produced utilizing thenformulated resin composition has a closed cell content of atnleast 90 percent. The formulated resin composition exhibits anzero ozone depleting potential and produces a polyurethane foamnthat cures faster than conventional sprayed polyurethane foams. |
