abstract The invention relates to a catalyst composition for the production of syndiotactic styrole polymers based on fluorine-containing metal complex compounds, a method for the production of said catalyst composition and to a method for the production of syndiotactic styrole polymers using said catalyst for molded bodies, for instance, by extrusion, injection molding or thermoforming, in non-reinforced and fiber-reinforced form. According to the invention, the catalyst composition for the production of syndiotactic styrole polymers based on fluorine-containing metal complex compounds contains: a) at least one metal complex composition of general formula (I); b) at least one aluminum organic compound and c) at least one alumoxane.
