abstract The present invention aims at avoiding code limitation in anCDMA cellular mobile communication network without decreasenin data transmission quality. This object is achievednthrough a method of scheduling a transfer of data to atnleast one user in a cellular mobile communication networknwhere the transfer of data is achieved via downlinknchannels using codes selected from a plurality of codentrees. In a first step of the method a plurality ofnrequests (*) to access downlink channels are received untilnthe beginning of a scheduling time interval. In a secondnstep permissions to access downlink channels (□) arencoordinated according to the assignment of downlinknchannels to the different code trees (A, B).
