abstract | A flame-retardant composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polyester having a terminal carboxyl group concentration of 60 equivalents/ton or less; (B1) a specific brominated epoxy compound and (B2) a brominated polyacrylate in the amount of 5 to 50 parts by weight; (C) 2 to 20 parts by weight of antimony trioxide, and the (B1)/(B2) weight ratio being 5/95 to 95/5. The composition has superior excellent residence stability than a composition used for a brominated epoxy compound alone as a flame retardant. |
