abstract The gas generator production process involves sticking the particle-form ignition material onto a foil web. The foil web is then wrapped round the core (1) to form a hollow cylinder with gas channels, so that the coated side of the web forms the inside of the cylinder. The two long edges of the foil web are then jointed. The hollow cylinder with the core in it is then fitted in the sleeve.
