titleOfInvention | Method for preparing lithographic printing plate |
abstract | [Object] n It is an object of the present invention to provide a methodnfor preparing a lithographic printing plate, which permits theninhibition of any reduction in the developing properties even afternthe elapse of time and/or the repeated use, which is notnaccompanied by the formation of any sludge in the developer evennif a large number of plates are developed, which can ensure a goodnability of developing nonimage areas and which can provide anprinting plate free of any scumming on non-image areas. It is alsonan object of the present invention to provide a method fornpreparing a lithographic printing plate, which is nevernaccompanied by any trouble such as blinding during printingnoperations, which scarcely damages image portions duringndevelopment, which can provide images having high strength andnwhich can provide a printing plate having high printingndurability. n [Means of Solution] n A method for preparing a lithographic printing platencomprises the steps of subjecting, to imagewise exposure, anpresensitized plate for use in making a lithographic printingnplate comprising an aluminum substrate provided thereon with anlight-sensitive layer formed from a photopolymerizable light-sensitivencomposition, which comprises a compound having annethylenically unsaturated double bond, a photopolymerizationninitiator and a polyurethane resin binder and then developing thenimagewise exposed plate with a developer containing an inorganicnalkaline agent and a nonionic surfactant, carrying a npolyoxyalkylene ether group, and having a pH value ranging fromn10.0 to 12.5 and an electrical conductivity ranging from 3 to 30nmS/cm. |
