| abstract |
A method for protecting the protein feed for agricultural animals is proposed, with the aim of reducing the degree of protein breakdown in the rumen of the animals, and a protector for the protein feed. The process involves processing the feed with an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer with a molecular mass of 1x10 5 - 2x10 7 . Polyacrylamide is used as a protector, usually in a proportion of 10 -5 : 1 to 10 -2 : 1 based on the mass of the protein feed.
