The invention concerns ultrafine microparticles and nanoparticles, and a method for controlled production thereof in the absence of or with minimum water, in the absence of plasticizers or under reduced temperature constraint. The method is characterised in that it consists in subjecting a matrix material to a high pressure homogenising process in an anhydrous or dry or low temperature medium, preferably at room temperature (20°C) and in particular below the freezing point of water. Said process brings about controlled fine grinding and reduces to a minimum the damaging influence of the chemical stability of the homogenised material. |
