titleOfInvention Device for capturing the retinal reflex image
abstract A system is described for recording the retinal reflex image by means of a scanning system for scanning an image on the retina and for feeding additional optical signals into the eye, in which a beam splitter is used to transmit rays from the outside world into the eye and to reflect those from the retina of the eye backscattered rays, a receiving unit for receiving the backscattered rays and a projection unit for projecting light rays into the eye can be used to generate an image on the retina that overlaps the image originally depicted on the retina. When scanning, the scanning system redirects the rays coming from the retina and on to an opto-electronic detector for the serial recording of the retinal reflex. The system is characterized in that it is designed in such a way that it can take over the function of special devices in the field of medical technology, ophthalmology, strabology and neurophthalmology.
