The invention relates to a method for producing a composition containing gold and/or silver particles and an amorphous, organically inorganic mixed oxide of titanium and silicon. The invention also relates to the compositions which can be produced according to this method, in addition to the use thereof as catalysts for the selective oxidation of hydrocarbons in the presence of molecular oxygen and a reducing agent. |
