abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for stimulating the interruption of dormancy of the buds of fruit-bearing plants and to a method for its application. Such composition is characterised in that it comprises at least a compound selected from Group A and at least a compound selected from Group B, in which Group A consists of nitrates of alkaline metals, nitrates of earthy alkaline metals, ammonium nitrates and other ammonium salts; and Group B comprises alkene oxides made to react with alkyl phenols, alcohols, fatty acids, oils; polyalkylenglycols; alkylpolyglucamides; alkylpolyglucosides. |
