titleOfInvention | New coupling components for oxidation hair colorants |
abstract | The invention relates to oxidation colorants for coloring keratin fibers, especially human hair. The inventive colorants contain, dissolved in a medium that is appropriate for coloring, at least one developer component and at least one m-aminophenol derivative of formula (I), wherein R<1> and R<2> independently represent hydrogen, a C1-C4 alkyl group or a C1-C4 hydroxyalkyl group or, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bound, form an optionally substituted, saturated heterocyclic 5- or 6-membered ring that may contain another nitrogen atom or an oxygen atom, R<3> represents hydrogen, a C1-C4 alkyl group or a C1-C4 hydroxyalkyl group, R<4> represents hydrogen, a C1-C4 alkyl group or a C3-C8 cycloalkyl group and R<5> and R<6> independently represent hydrogen, a halogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 hydroxyalkyl group, a C1-C4 aminoalkyl group or a C1-C4 alkoxy group and n is an integer from 1 to 8, or they contain a physiologically acceptable salt of one of these compounds, with the proviso that, if a tetraaminopyrimidine is used as the developer component, at least one additional colorant precursor is present. The inventive agents are characterized by intense colorations especially in the brown range and by excellent color fastness properties. |
