An oligomer for the medium to entrap microorganismsnincludes a main structure made of polyalkylene glycol andnsub-structures including urethane bonds and ethyleneoxy, ornurethane bonds, ethyleneoxy, and propyleneoxy between thenmain structure and the polymeric double bond groups arrangednat both ends of the main structure, so that a main structurenis lengthened. Network formation with the urethane bondsnincreases flexibility, strength, and erosion resistancenthereof. On the other hand, binding with ethyleneoxy reducesnhydrophobicity of the urethane regions so as to improve annaffinity to microorganisms. |
