abstract | The invention relates to tricyclic benzoylcyclohexanedione derivatives of formula (I), wherein the variables have the following meanings: X is oxygen, sulphur, S=O, S(=O)2, CR?6R7, NR8¿ or a bond; y forms a saturated, partially saturated or unsaturated 5- or 6-membered heterocycle with the two carbons to which it is bonded; R?1, R2, R6, R7¿ is hydrogen, alkyl, alkyl halide, alkoxy or alkoxy halide; R3 is halogen, alkyl, alkyl halide, alkoxy or alkoxy halide; R4 is hydrogen, nitro, halogen, cyano, alkyl, alkyl halide, alkoxy, alkoxy halide, alkylthio, C¿1?-C6- alkylthio halide, alkylsulfinyl, alkylsulfinyl halide, alkylsulfonyl, alkylsulfonyl halide, optionally substituted aminosulfonyl, or optionally substituted sulfonylamino; R?5¿ is hydrogen, alkyl or halogen; m is 0, 1 or 2; R8 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkyl halide, alkylcarbonyl, formyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl halide, alkylsulfonyl or alkylsulfonyl halide; and R9 is substituted (3-oxo-1-cyclohexen-2-yl)-carbonyl or substituted (1,3-dioxo-2-cyclohexyl)-methylidene; and to agriculturally useable salts thereof. The invention also relates to a method for producing the tricyclic benzoylcyclohexanedione derivatives, to products containing them and to the use of said derivatives or said products containing them for combating unwanted vegetation. |
