A positive-type planographic printing original plate forndirect plate-making with an infrared laser, with excellentnlatitude in forming an image by development, and excellentnflaw resistance. The planographic printing original platenincludes, on a support, a positive-type recording layer whosensolubility with respect to an alkaline aqueous solution isnincreased by infrared laser exposure. The recording layerncontains an alkali-soluble resin, which has a fluorine atom innthe molecule, and an infrared absorbing agent. The alkali-solublenresin can be provided by introducing at least onensubstituent having a fluorine atom to a known alkali-solublenpolymer compound. |
