Shrinkproof animal fiber and method for preparation thereof |
abstract |
The present invention provides an animal fibersnhaving improved shrink proofing and pilling resistancenproperties and method for preparation thereof. n An animal fiber having excellent shrink proofing andnpilling resistance and retaining its original waternrepellency is also provided. A method of treating animalnfiber in which a surface layer part of animal fiber isnprimary-oxidized in advance with an oxidizer, and aqueousntreatment liquid containing ozone in the form of ultrafinenbubbles of 5 ยต or less is allowed to collide against thenfiber by blowing the liquid on the fiber in the aqueousntreatment solution, and then, the fiber is treated with anreducing agent. Particularly, the above-mentioned methodnfor treating animal fiber in which ultrafine bubbles ofnozone are formed by using a line mixer. The method innwhich an apparatus which collects the ultrafine ozonenbubbles in aqueous treatment liquid on the fiber is used sonthat the bubbles are not scattered out of a treatmentnreaction bowl. |
