titleOfInvention | Non-aqueous electrolyte and electrochemical device comprising the same |
abstract | A non-aqueous electrolyte is disclosed, whichncomprises a non-aqueous solvent and a solute represented bynthe general formula(1): MBR 1 R 2 R 3 R 4 , wherein M is an alkalinmetal atom or an ammonium group and R 1 to R 4 are eachnindependently electron withdrawing groups or electronnwithdrawing atoms bound to B where at least one of R 1 to R 4 isnother than a fluorine atom. The solute has a thermalnstability substantially equal to that of LiBF 4 and an anionnportion having a high electronegativity, and easilyndissociates into ions. Therefore, a non-aqueous electrolytencontaining this solute has a high ionic conductivity and isndifficult to cause a generation of a gas or deterioration inncharacteristics due to the decomposition of the solute, whichnoccurs during use at high temperatures or after storage atnhigh temperatures. |
