abstract |
A composition and method for use in imparting ornmaintaining a glossy or shiny finish on a hard surface. In onenembodiment, the composition comprises a base polishncomponent or components, and at least one poly[oxyalkylene]nammonium cationic surfactant. In another embodiment, anmethod of imparting a glossy finish on a hard surface bynapplying a composition to the hard surface, the compositionncomprising at least one poly[oxyalkylene] ammonium cationicnsurfactant. In some such embodiments, the compositionncomprises a base polish and the poly[oxyalkylene] ammoniumncationic surfactant is dispersed in the base polish. Preferably,nthe poly[oxyalkylene] ammonium cationic surfactantncomprises in the range of about 0.01 to about 10 wt. %, morenpreferably in the range of about 0.05 to about 5 wt. %, andnmore preferably in the range of about 0.1 to about 1 wt. % ofnthe total composition. |
