A pressure-sensitive transfer adhesive tape, which transfers the adhesive agent layer alone to an adhesion-subject material, is well-known; the adhesive agent layer applied to a support has to be severed after it has been transferred to the adhesion-subject material. However, since the adhesive agent layer is continuously applied, the adhesive agent stretches in the manner of threading during severing, thus presenting the drawback of making smooth severing impossible. This drawback has been eliminated by applying an adhesive agent layer in the form of discrete islands or by making the surface of the adhesive agent layer uneven. |
