The use of a support material for capillary electrochromatography is disclosed, wherein the support material, which is based on a base material containing hydroxy groups, has reversed phases which are limited to the inner surfaces of porous particles, said reversed phases consisting of fatty acid residues. Further, separating capillaries suitable for such a use are disclosed. |
