abstract | A dielectric film formed on a porous valve metal bodynis contacted with an oxidizing agent and dried. Then, byncontacting the dielectric film with a monomer solution fornforming an electrolyte layer of electroconductive polymer,na electrolyte layer of a solid electrolytic capacitor isnformed by an oxidative polymerization reaction. Annoxidative polymerization retarding agent, which delays thenoxidative polymerization reaction, is added to at least onenof the solutions, an oxidant solution and a monomernsolution. The oxidative polymerization retarding agentndelays the oxidative polymerization reaction when itncontacts with the oxidant and monomer. As a result, thenpermeation of the monomer for forming an electroconductivenpolymer layer into small pores increases, and the coveringnrate of the electroconductive polymer in small poresnincreases, which improves the capacitance appearance factornand the equivalent series resistance in high frequencynregion. |
