abstract |
An optical connecting component which does not disturb the arrangement pattern of optical fibers, protects the optical fibers against an external force, simplifies the optical connection, and improves the environmental resistance and reliability. An adhesive layer (3) is provided in a base (1) or a resin protective layer. Optical fibers (4) having an optical connector at their ends are arranged two-dimensionally on the adhesive layer (3) and fixed with the resin protective layer (2). The resin protective layer (2) is made of a silicone material which cured with the progress of condensation reaction by deoximation or dealcoholization or of a mixture of a silicone material crosslinked and cured by hydrosilylation reaction and an adhesion-imparting agent. The adhesive layer (3) is made of an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive or a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive crosslinked and cured by hydrosilylation reaction. |
