abstract |
To provide a process for recovering high qualitynhydrogen chloride rationally with good economicalnefficiency, particularly hydrogen chloride with an elevatednquality level to be provided as the feedstock for thenoxychlorination reaction in producing dichloroethane and anvinyl chloride monomer from a hydrogen chloride gas to bengenerated by the combustion of chlorine based waste. Tonuse a process for recovering hydrogen chloride fromnchlorine based waste comprises adding water and a reducingnagent to an acid gas obtained by the combustion of chlorinenbased waste to effect reaction to obtain a crude hydrogennchloride aqueous solution having an oxidation-reductionnpotential of not higher than 900 mV and then, distillingnthe crude hydrogen chloride aqueous solution to obtain anpurified hydrogen chloride gas. |
