abstract The invention concerns a pasty composition comprising between 10 and 15 wt.% of metal oxide, between 3 and 6 wt.% of at least two antiseptic agents one of which at least is an antiseptic agent with prolonged release, between 0.5 and 2 wt.% of dexamethasone, between 25 and 35 wt.% of phenol, between 20 and 30 wt.% of formaldehyde, between 20 and 30 wt.% of guaiacol and between 0 and 1 wt.% of amyl acetate. Said pasty composition is particularly useful as sealing material during pulpotomy.
