The process for manufacturing topical ophthalmic preparations without systemic effects |
abstract |
The invention relates to topical ophthalmic preperations resp. a process for manufacturing the same using polymers in such a way that they have desired topical effects but no systemic effects. The polymers (e.g. polyacrylic acids, hydroxyethyl cellulose, etc.) used for this purpose have pseudo-plastic, mucoadhesive and viscosity enhancing properties. |
