The use of resveratrol (3,4',5-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) and derivatives thereof,nfor the preparation of medicaments for the treatment of exfoliative eczema, acne andnpsoriasis, topical pharmaceutical formulations containing resveratrol or derivativesnthereof in combination with other active principles. Treatment consists in topicalnadministrations of resveratrol at concentrations of 0.01 to 20%, in the form ofnlotions, creams or ointments, optionally in combination with other active principlesnsuch as melatonin, vitamins D, E and A and derivatives thereof, hormones,nvegetable and/or animal extracts. Contrary to current therapies, the use ofnresveratrol has neither systemic nor topical effects during and after therapy. |
