abstract The invention relates to disinfecting agents based on quaternary ammonium salts and/or tertiary amines with the addition of optionally substituted piperazines. The combination of piperazine with quaternary ammonium salt or with tertiary amine induces a strong synergistic effect. The inventive disinfecting agents are especially suited for disinfecting instruments.
