The invention relates to a distraction device for surgically correcting spinal disorders, damage or deformities, such as curvatures of the spine (scoliosis), spina bifida, spondylolisthesis, spondylarthrosis or similar. The inventive device comprises a device (1) which consists of at least two elements (4.1, 4.2) which are axially moveable in relation to each other and which act on adjacent vertebrae or vertebral regions, optionally at a distance from each other. Said device (1) can be used subcutaneously and in such a way that it is fully implanted, and can be contactlessly directly or indirectly operated by external means. |
